The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

It’s an indoor version of “The Cloudmont” and that’s only an hour up the road from me. As much time as I spend in the NYC area, I’m sure I’ll give it a try eventually. Maybe not in the winter, there are better outdoor options, but during the summer it would be a different month to claim slope time.

For pics of the lift. It's pretty weird not to have any towers in the ground. Turns out the chairlift was installed back in 2008 during early development, long before the current developer got involved.

Here's a good video introduction. Can get a feel for the speed that's possible for the terrain park. There is a limit of 500 people during every time period. So lift lines shouldn't be an issue.

A little surprised, but there is already a video review. The man lives pretty close to American Dream, knows how to ski, and seemed to have a better time than he expected.
