The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

I am sure it has been asked a million times, but we are coming up from Clemson and we are looking for a cheap place to stay for Saturday night within 30 mins or so of Beach. What is the cheapest hotel/motel to stay at? Can I get a couple of suggestions?

Elks Motel in Boone advertises rooms starting at $24.95 a night. Brush up on your spanish if you stay there. :wink:

smoketree lodge is about the cheapest place to stay close to beech, but boone has even cheaper -- but scarier -- places.

motel 6 in midvale utah. its 39.99 a night. and snowbird is right up the road.
