The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard
The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.
We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.
We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

So many flavors and styles, hard to pin any one place. there is a lot of info. posted on this board by parisanddrewsdaddy. do a search for posts by him for a good start (search utility link is in the upper right hand corner of the message board screen)
By the way, welcome aboard and happy posting

Salt Lake City is a good option. Several resorts (nine or so) in the area, good transportation, good airport. You can stay on the cheap in downtown, drive up, or catch a shuttle. Only problem is getting caught in town on a big powder day and the canyon roads closed.
Canadian exhange rate is good right now. Whistler, Lake Louise.
Jackson Hole is rocking.
Reno/Tahoe are light this year.

Uh... this year you can't go wrong. Everywhere is epic. Colorado, SLC, Tahoe, Jackson, Whistler... you name it, they've got amazing conditions. Out here in CO I've skied 17 days so far this season, and all but two have been powder days.
