Massanutten Resort s getting ready to kick off its 50th season on Tuesday, Dec. 21.
After hosting a preview weekend earlier in December, Massanutten will drop the rope at 9a for the season.
Paul’s Way, Southern Comfort, and Diamond Jim will be available for skiing on
Tuesday with more terrain expanding as temperatures allow.
There will not be any intermediate terrain on Tuesday.
Massanutten will have the lifts spinning from 9a-5p on Tuesday and Wednesday with Thursday featuring 9a-9p hours.
The ‘Nut will ski from 9a-5p on Christmas Eve, and be open from 12p-8p on Christmas Day.
Snow tubing is also available.
