What a beautiful fall it has been so far.

We are heading into what should be the last weekend of color as we are moving to the downhill side of peak colors in the High Country.

This past weekend was beautiful. While this upcoming weekend may not have as much peak color, there are still some pockets of incredible color.

As the leaf season comes to a close, our eyes are turning to the slopes. Our own Kenny Griffin spied Snowshoe Mountain placing out their snow guns as prep for the season hits a fever pitch.

Snowshoe has started getting ready for the upcoming season.

It is always great to watch the cameras over at Resortcams to see what resorts are doing as they start flip over to the winter season.

Now, we wait for Ma Nature to send us some cold temperatures.

There has been some snowmaking going on over at Ober Gatlinburg as they use their “Snow Magic” to get the tubing hill set for the upcoming season.

Ober Gatlinburg has started getting their tubing hill ready with Snow Magic while they approach peak color.

Ober Gatlinburg is slated to open the tubing season on November 15 and it will run through Easter 2021.

As the march to the season continues, be sure to check back for the latest updates. The season will be here before we know it.

Until next time, #ThinkSnow!
