The first day of spring is having a chilly start.

Spring will start at 5:24 today, and it will warm up a tad to by then to give us some classic spring skiing.

However, this morning feels more like winter as we have cold temperatures across the board with a few single digits and teens.

That will set the stage for an incredible morning on the snow for those able to make some runs today.

This afternoon is looking pretty solid as well – just with some softer snow.

As a cherry on top, the forecast is looking pretty sweet today as well.

For today, we have Snowshoe Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Timberline Mountain, and Wisp Resort all spinning lifts.

For the full rundown, be sure to visit the Snow Reports page.

Things are looking pretty incredible on the slopes this morning.
Massanutten Resort has temporarily suspended operations after they had a great weekend. They hope to open this upcoming weekend, but that is weather (and conditions) permitting.

We saw three resorts close out their season with outstanding conditions this past weekend as App Ski Mountain, Beech Mountain, and Bryce Resort all wrapped up the season.

Today’s featured image is from App Ski Mountain as their final Sunrise Sunday post of the season.

Things are winding down but it isn’t too late to make some late-season turns.

That does it for today, but until next time, #ThinkSnow!
