Ring in 2017 at Wintergreen — we’ve got different parties to fit everybody’s style, and we’ve got FIREWORKS! Seeing Fireworks light up the slopes is truly a magical experience!

| 1 pm | Birdfeeder Workshop, Nature Foundation Join Nancy Donnelly at this hands-on workshop where you and your child can create and paint a cedar bird feeder that accommodates either suet or seed cakes. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Children ages 5 and up are welcome. Advance registration is required at twnf.org |
| 5:30 pm-midnight | New Year’s Eve, Copper Mine Bistro Style Enjoy Chef Miles’ special à la carte menu; Dinner served from 5:30-9:30 pm. Then, shake it up with live R&B from Joe Pettus and the Soul Shakers. Reservations required, 434-325-8090. |
| 5:30 pm-midnight | New Year’s Eve at Devils Grill Escape up the hill to Devils Knob for the creative and tempting dinner you’ve come to expect from Chef Travis Terry. Dinner served from 5:30-9:30 pm. While dining at Devils Grill is an event in itself, you’ll want to stick around for the live jazz and classic tunes from the Renee Ruth Band from 9 pm-midnight. | 5:30 pm-midnight | Ring in 2017 at The Edge It’s the local neighborhood hangout – the best place to welcome the new year. Dine from our new dinner menu, then from 9:30 until midnight dance the night away with live rock and blues from Who Shot John. Dinner served from 5:30-10 pm. The Edge does not take reservations; seating is first come, first served. After 10 pm, only 21 years and over. |
| 7-10:30 pm | Be Bold Party Before the FIREWORKS at 10 pm, join the pre-party on the Blue Ridge Terrace! Presented with Bold Rock Hard Cider, we’ll have music, bonfires, games, a Warren Miller Movie showing in Pryor’s Cafeteria, and Bold Rock beverages and smores kits available for purchase. |
| 7 pm-midnight | Commonweath Ballroom New Year’s Eve Celebration Ring in the New Year in style with an elegant evening of festive dining and dancing to the tune of the Blue Tips Rhythm Revue. From 7 pm – 8 pm enjoy tempting hors d’oeuvres: Pear and Brie Cheese Tartlet, Crispy Risotto Balls with Spiced Aioli and Spanakopita. Be sure to save room for dinner at 8 pm, where the main course will be Roasted Prime of Beef with Roasted Garlic Au Jus or Baked Crab Stuffed Flounder with a Tomato Mornay Sauce. And if the choice is too hard, pick the Surf and Turf with a sampling of both! The icing on the cake is a delicious dessert buffet at 9:30 pm. As we count down to 2017, we’ll raise our glasses for a champagne toast at midnight with best wishes for the coming year. $89 per person. Reservations required; please call 877-776-0185.
