On Snow

Myself and 3 other guys drove up Sunday afternoon and stayed up at the Elk River Lodge and skied Snowshoe all day on Monday. The conditions were phenomenal!!

We were on the slopes a little after 9…skied directly over to Western and skied Cupp and Shay’s almost the entire morning. The snow was awesome all over. Lower Shays had not been groomed, but it was not icy. Upper Shays and the entire Cupp Run were groomed and in tip top shape. After lunch we packed up and headed over to Silver Creek and enjoyed even more great skiing conditions. Bear Claw was great along with all of the blue runs. Overall a great day of skiing and riding…probably some of the best conditions I’ve skied up there since a couple of years ago. Too bad I couldn’t stay up there all week because they are supposed to get snow the rest of the week…snow flurries were beginning when we left!!
