A beautiful day is on the way to kick off the week.

After a great weekend of skiing, we are seeing some great spring conditions as the open resorts continue to fight the good fight.

As a testament to the dedication of our resorts, we have a few who have temporarily closed but haven’t given up hope.

App Ski, Beech Mountain, Snowshoe Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Timberline, and Wisp are open for play today. For the full details, be sure to visit the Snow Reports page.

The open list has changed a bit over the past 24 hours.

Bryce Resort announced on Sunday that they have suspended winter operations while they wait for the next snowmaking opportunity.

The plan is re-open by Friday, March 10 (weather permitting) and they are still planning on having Winterfest this Saturday, March 11.

Canaan Valley announced late on Sunday night that their season has come to a close.

Timberline is playing today but will suspend operations on Tuesday. Operational status for the weekend of March 10th and beyond has yet to be determined.

The next couple of days are going to be very springlike, but we are watching the forecast as we could see another snowmaking window and perhaps some natural snow to end the week.

Today’s featured image is from Snowshoe Mountain’s Berming Man and Turning Man Banked Slalom races this weekend.

As always, it looked like they had an absolute blast and great conditions for the event.

That does it for today, but until next time, #ThinkSnow!
