Country Roads West Virginia is the place to be for some fresh snow today.

For the fifth straight day, Canaan Valley, Snowshoe Mountain, and Timberline Mountain recorded over two inches of additional snow.

A snowy scene this morning at Canaan Valley

The Cheat Mountain Magic was in effect the past 24 hours as Snowshoe is reporting four fresh inches this morning. That brings their total since Saturday to 15 inches of snow.

Canaan Valley and Timberline weren’t far behind as they are reporting just under three inches of snow for the past 24 hours. Those two resorts have received nearly 16″ of fresh powder since Saturday.

Oh, and it is still snowing this morning. (You can go watch it snow over at ResortCams.com.)

Road trip, anyone?

Winterplace hasn’t received as much snow as their West Virginia counterparts, but they have received ample snow since Saturday as well.

Even if you aren’t able to make the road trip to the Mountain State today, conditions are incredible everywhere at all of our member resorts.

With the snow over the weekend and ample snowmaking opportunities, the slopes are in awesome shape with plenty of snow to play on for the midweek. The best part is there is plenty of terrain to play on as well.

How incredible is that?

Social Shares
A couple of quick social media shares from yesterday that I thought was awesome.

App Ski Mountain had this beautiful early morning shot on Tuesday.

Bryce had a fantastic video that showed off the fun that was had for MLK Weekend.

Canaan Valley gave us a quick taste of Tuesday’s condition with a quick run down Valley Vista.

Tuesday was also #NoonSki day for the crew over at Ober Gatlinburg.

Last but not least, Snowshoe Mountain showed off the terrain parks.

That does it for today, but until next time, #ThinkSnow!
