David Scott writes, "I took this shot from the top of Cataloochee Ski area (5,400 ft) near Maggie Valley, NC. on 12/22/09 after a rare powder dump of 22 inches. In the foreground is the entrance to the high meadow run. The slopes in the distance were part of the original Cataloochee ski area where I first learned to ski in the mid 1960’s.
