Windy and Cooler Today; Much More Like Winter the REST of the Week!

WISP RESORT IN MARYLAND – They will experience rain showers today (about 40% chance), WINDY conditions and highs will moderate to about 39° with overnight lows dropping to 20° (snowmaking ops if they decide to do it).  Wednesday will be Partly Cloudy and breezy with highs in the 40° range and lows around 21°.  Thursday looks like a little underdeveloped snow again and a high of 43°. Thursday night looks to be 25° and maybe some light snow.  Friday appears to be a snowy day with highs on the 30s and lows in the 20s.  Saturday will be SUNNY and cold with highs around 30° and lows around 20°.  Perfect for enjoying the cold and snow.

SNOWSHOE IN WEST VIRGINIA – They too are looking at a little rain and high winds today with highs around 36° and dropping to 20°. Wednesday should be sunny and highs around 38° and overnight lows dropping to 19° or so.  Thursday looks a little wet with light rain and highs around 43°. Thursday night’s low should allow for snowmaking at 22° or so.  Friday should be SNOWY with snow showers and a high near 33°.  Friday night will again dip to 20° or possibly lower into the teens.  Saturday and Sunday look like identical weather days with sunny skies and highs around 36° with overnight lows dropping into the teens.

WINTERGREEN RESORT IN VIRGINIA – Temps are slightly milder into Virginia and skies are already clearing as we post this morning weather update.  Expect sunny skies today through Thursday. Highs EACH day will be around 52° with lows tonight around 33°, Wednesday night around 28° and Thursday night about 37°.  Friday looks like a slight chance of light rain and a high near 46°.  Overnight lows Friday night should allow for snowmaking at 23°. Saturday and Sunday are matching sunny days with highs around 48° and lows near 30°.

NC MOUNTAINS – Today through Thursday look for clear but windy conditions with blustery winds.  Highs each day should be around 48°.  Lows tonight and Wednesday night should be around 29° which MAY allow for snowmaking.  Thursday night dips down to 20°.  Friday, Saturday and Sunday are all sunny days with highs around the mid 40s and lows near 22° Friday and Saturday nights.
