A Wet, Milder Than Normal Period Ahead…

As this capture displays…even the normally colder and snowier Snowshoe Mountain in West Virginia is forecasting temperatures that won’t allow snowmaking anytime soon. On top of that it appears that we’re also in for some rather damp weather for the next 12-14 days.

No worries. Ski and snowboarding season will be here before we know it. Cold air WILL COME.

Thanksgiving Weekend has been the unofficial beginning of ski seasons for a few decades now and all we need these days is two good days and nights of snowmaking and the ski resorts will open.
