Mike’s New Column Relocates to the Top of the Page…

We’ve always posted more videos than any ski web presence east of the Rockies, however now we’re not only posting our reader’s best videos and the ski area videos – we’re actually attempting to BLOG the season through a regular video posting that encapsulates what each previous week was like.

So far we’ve posted two video blogs on the season. The first was a snowy video with Opening Day fun at Appalachian Ski Mountain. The second in our series was posted on Monday, December 13th and it shows off MORE SNOWFALL as well as some scenes from Sugar Mountain and Snowshoe’s Opening Day.

Check out those videos today and throughout the season by clicking here > Ski and Snowboarding Videos

"OPEN MIKE" Claims a Spot at the Top of the Page

I guess when you’ve been THE GUY posting all of the stories, announcements and a gazillion photos over the previous 15 seasons – you just can’t "go away" quietly! Just kidding!

We’ve rearranged the front page of both SkiNC.com and SkiSoutheast.com so that his "Open Mike" column will run at the top right column of the page – just below the resort links. Be sure to check out what he’s got to say and make sure to keep reading the FirsTrax Daily News for the ski area news, tours of conditions, etc.

JOE STEVENS’ MOVES AS WELL!!!

While we were at it, we’ve moved Joe Stevens’ "Joe Knows Snow" column up on the front page just below the announcements and to the left of the "Upcoming Events" calendars. Be sure to check out Joe’s weekly take on the region.
