Ummm, Have we mentioned that it’s SNOWING!

The webcams are showing a lot of white and in some cases the LIVE STREAMS are so heavily trafficked that the inner-office server isn’t pushing all the video through.  Charter told us that 2GIG a second of traffic is kind of a load! Funny.  At least our load handling IS handling all the traffic and keeping us running!

We called our IT admins and we’re probably going to upgrade to a 10 TERABYTE bandwidth allowance to handle the bandwidth and live streams during heavy snows that we’re betting we’ll see this season.

Here at our offices as of 4:41pm we have about six inches of snow and HERE, my peeps, is the latest from the NWS!

WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST SATURDAY…

SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TONIGHT. THE HEAVIEAST SNOW WILL OCCUR THIS EVENING WHEN UP TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR WILL OCCUR.

The NWS and others are now forecasting a wide range of snow totals from 12" to 24" of snow here in the High Country with greater amounts into WV.  Sonny up at Snowshoe had posted around 3pm that the snow was picking up now up that way.

Oh HOW SWEET IT IS!!!

Obviously travel will be an issue on Saturday, but once the DOT crews get the roads cleared (and they do that wonderfully in the mountains) you guys will need to come and see this gloriously beautiful snow!

Can anyone say, POWDER!

More to come later!
