DescriptionBoyd Mountain is located in western North Carolina and the Great Smoky Mountains. Just minutes from Waynesville and Maggie Valley. The best of both worlds, privacy in a pristine mountain setting and also close to all the things folks love to do in the area. Rolling hills filled with Fraser Firs, 3 stocked ponds, Jonathan Creek, and miles of hiking trails are at your doorstep.
Our seven rental cabins are unique, authentic hand hewn log cabins dating back 150 to 200 years. They have been carefully restored and tastefully furnished with antiques and modern conveniences. Each cabin is named after the location from which the cabin originally stood. We take great pride in the history of these unique structures.
At Boyd Mountain you can enjoy hiking trails, 3 stocked fishing ponds, trout stream (Jonathan Creek), swimming hole in Jonathan Creek, sledding in winter, volleyball, basketball, badmiton, 1/2 mile paved drive for walking, jogging, strolling or bicycling on over 130 acres of land. Another great activity is the 'Choose and Cut' Christmas tree, where you can choose your own Christmas tree directly on the farm.
You may also want to take advantage of our KIDS SKI FREE PROGRAM with Cataloochee Ski Area. Children age 17 and under can STAY OVERNIGHT FREE at Boyd Mountain Log Cabins and SKI FREE at Cataloochee Ski Area when accompanied by a paying adult. The program is available every Monday through Friday, non-holiday, all season long.

•Take exit 20 off I-40
•Go 3 1/2 miles on Hwy. 276 South
•Turn right onto Hemphill Road past Wingray Campground
•Cross bridge & immediately turn left onto Boyd Farm Road
•Follow to Log Cabins
FROM ATLANTA, GA:
•Take I-85 N, to I-985 to Hwy. 441/23 to Sylva, NC and comtinue on 23/74 to Waynesville
•Take Exit 102B to Hwy. 276 North (Maggie Valley/Lake Junaluska)
•Go 2 miles on Hwy. 276 North & turn left onto Hemphill Road
•Cross bridge & immediately turn left onto Boyd Farm Road
•Follow to Log Cabins
