Headed up to App for the weekend and the first of the Crescent ski races. SKISC called on the drive up Friday and informed me that the races were canceled. Last year they were canceled because of not enough snow, this year too much snow! I knew it wasn’t going to be a true powder day at Sugar or App since they groom the good stuff, but I’m not complaining…. great snow and no crowds. It doesn’t get much better in the SE than this.
