HERE’S THE SKIER’S FORECAST FOR THE MIDATLANTIC AND SOUTHEAST RESORTS:

For WISP, TIMBERLINE & CANAAN…… Clouds with a 70% chance of "liquid snow" for Saturday and highs in the lower 50’s to start the weekend.   A 60% chance of showers hangs on for Saturday night with lows in the upper 20’s. Sunshine and cooler temperatures for Sunday with afternoon highs around 40 degrees.

SNOWSHOE…. Skies will become mostly cloudy Saturday with a 30% chance of mainly afternoon rain as temperatures warm into the middle 40’s. Rain chances increase to 60% Saturday night with temperatures falling into the middle 30’s. Other than an early morning shower, skies will dry out for Sunday with cooler afternoon temperatures in the upper 30’s.

WINTERGREEN….. Temperatures take quite a jump to start the weekend with partly cloudy skies for Saturday and a high around 60 degrees. Clouds thicken up with a 40% rain chance Saturday night and temperatures bottoming out in the middle 40’s. More scattered rain shower (30%) for the first half of Sunday with highs around 50 degrees.

OBER GATLINBURG…. Cloudy skies with a 50% rain chance on Saturday and warm readings in the lower 60’s. Saturday night will be cloudy with a 40% chance of showers and temperatures falling into the middle 40’s. An isolated shower or two for Sunday, otherwise, partly cloudy with temperatures in the middle 40’s.

HERE’S THE OUTLOOK FOR THE WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS….
The High Country will start off the weekend with a mix of clouds and sun. Temperatures will warm into the middle 50’s with dry conditions for the daytime. Scattered showers (40%) will develop for the evening and overnight with lows in the upper 30’s. Other than a very early shower (20%) for Sunday morning, skies will become partly sunny with highs back in the middle 50’s
