The First Weekend of Skiing was Great by all Accounts

By all reports the skiing and riding were pretty exceptional on Saturday and pretty good on Sunday at Appalachian Ski Mountain and Sugar Mountain Resort. All of the emails that we received on Saturday claimed anything from "the snow was astonishingly good" to "I could not believe how great it was out there!"

One reported fro Appalachian on Saturday, "I swear if more slopes were open I’d say that Saturday’s snow was the best I’ve ever seen." All pretty amazing reports considering the fact that both Sugar and Appalachian have had limited snowmaking opportunities. That says a lot about today’s technology and just how much the resorts can do these days…regarding snowmaking.
