HERE’S THE SKIER’S FORECAST FOR THE MIDATLANTIC AND SOUTHEAST RESORTS:

For WISP, TIMBERLINE & CANAAN…… The week finishes up with sunny skies for Friday with a high around 41 degrees. Clouds are on the increase Friday night with temperatures dipping down near the freezing mark. More clouds with a 40% chance of "liquid snow" for Saturday and highs in the middle 40’s to start the weekend.

SNOWSHOE…. Skies will be partly cloudy with temperatures in the low 40’s to end the week on Friday. The mercury dips into the low 30’s with partly cloudy skies Friday night. Clouds move in Saturday with a 20% chance of rain as temperatures warm into the middle 40’s.

WINTERGREEN….. Plenty of sunshine for Friday with a high around 41 degrees. Skies will be partly cloudy Friday night with lows in the lower 30’s. Temperatures take quite a jump to start the weekend with partly cloudy skies for Saturday and a high around 60 degrees.

OBER GATLINBURG…. A warm end to the week with partly cloudy skies Friday and highs in the lower 60’s. The mercury slips down to around 40 degrees for Friday night with partly cloudy skies. Clouds move in with a 20% chance of rain showers on Saturday. Temperatures will warm up into the lower 60’s.

HERE’S THE OUTLOOK FOR THE WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS….
Some patchy fog and drizzle in parts of the High Country on Friday. Otherwise, skies will see a heavy mix of clouds with a little sunshine to wrap up the week with temperatures in the upper 40’s and lower 50’s. More clouds move in Friday night with temperatures falling into the lower 30’s. A 30% chance of rain will move in to kick off the weekend on Saturday and lingers into Sunday as well with temperatures in the middle 50’s.
