HERE’S THE OUTLOOK FOR THE WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS….

Maybe a very early morning flurry or two, then drying out for Friday but still cold and windy with highs around 24 to 27 degrees. The winds will settle down into the 10 to 15 mph range by the afternoon as well. A virtual heat wave for the weekend as high pressure builds in across the southeast, with sunshine and highs in the upper 30’s Saturday and middle 40’s Sunday. On into early next week, we’ll maintain this pattern, maybe even add a degree or two to the high temperatures.
