You think we’ll get any snow anytime soon? Wowsers! Storm totals are pretty impressive across the region this morning.

Here’s some totals thus far:

West Virginia Resorts:

Canaan Valley – 14” Snowshoe Mountain – 19”
Timberline Resort – 8”

Hawksnest Resort – 16”

Sapphire Valley – 8”
Wolf Laurel – 12”

This storm has been amazing in that the first half underperformed and the second half just won’t quit!  Some areas along the eastern have seen about 8” or so, but many areas west have been buried in more than 12-18” and we’ve had a couple of reports along the Tennessee line of 20” of snowfall.

We’ll update you again when it’s all said and done but for now, here’s the forecast.

Monday will continue to be a little snowy.  We expect the snow showers to taper off the second half of the day.  Highs will be in the mid to upper 20s and lows tonight in the low 20s.

Tuesday may be the best weather day to enjoy these conditions as the sun will be shining and we’ll see more NORMAL highs of 44° and lows around 27°.

Wednesday and Thursday should be Partly Cloudy with highs in the Upper 40s and lows near freezing.

The weekend is looking like another round of snow coming our way.  Stay tuned!

Until Next Time!
