The forecast for Wisp today is a 20% of light sprinkles of underdeveloped snow this morning and maybe a snowflake or two. It will be windy and cloudy for the most part with a high near 42° or so.  Temps dive down tonight with a possible snow shower and 17°.  Sunday should be mostly sunny with highs only around 22° and Sunday night’s low of about 12°.

At Snowshoe things will be mostly sunny today with a warm high in the mid 40s.  Temps dive tonight to 13° or so.  Snow showers are in the forecast for Sunday and Monday with highs in the 20s to near 30° on Monday.  Overnight lows Sunday night should be near 10°.

Looks like a sunny day at Wintergreen with highs in the low 50s today and then increasing clouds tonight and a low near 20°.  Sunday should be beautiful with highs in the low to mid 30s and Sunday night’s lows should be 15°.  Monday will also be sunny and cold with highs in the 30s and lows in the low 20s.

In the NC Mountains, it should be mild and variably cloudy on Saturday with only a slight 20% chance of light drizzle later in the day.  Highs will be warm to about 50° or so today and nosedive to 20° or so this evening.  There could be a sprinkle or two of snow tonight.

The snowguns will fire up tonight.  Sunday should be beautiful, with highs in the upper 20s or so and overnight lows around 15°.  Snowguns could be blasting all day at some places.  Monday will be slightly milder than normal but only by a degree or two.  Highs Monday should be near 45°. Tuesday through Friday should be mostly clear and milder than normal with highs in the 40s and 50s and no snowmaking at night.

Colder air looks to be back in the picture towards next weekend.
