It looks like today will be a good day to finish your last minute Christmas shopping or do some early Holiday skiing as the day will be pretty, with mild temps in the mid to upper 40s across the Southeast. Lots of sunshine out, so take your sunscreen!
Things will cloud up about the time you should be gathering with family anyway and expect some light rain to move into the region. Up to one-half an inch or slightly more. Nothing to mess up the surface conditions though. Lows overnight tonight will be near freezing.
Christmas Day will be wet. Expect it – get past it and have a great day with your families! Periods of rain mainly during the day with highs in the upper 30s…before turning colder around mid-day and changing to SNOW! Sunday night – MORE SNOW and colder temps into the upper 20s.
Snow lingers Monday Morning and some areas could see some light 2-4" accummulations.
Expect snow showers to linger later in the day into West Virginia as the system moves through.
Tuesday will be cold and sunny.
See you on the Slopes and Merry Christmas!
