"As of 11:30 am this morning Snowshoe Mountain’s Mountain Operations has just under 200 guns making snow at the Snowshoe and Silver Creek areas at the West Virginia Resort. The temperature stands at 21 degrees and we have received an inch of snow. It started snowing at 5:15 am this morning and we cranked up the guns at 5:40. The temperature at 3 am was 41 degrees so you can see it is dropping quickly. We expect to be offering over 30 trails for skiing and riding on Saturday and that number will increase each day through the holiday weekend."
