SNOWSHOE, West Virginia – (February 17, 2015) – Snowshoe Mountain (www.snowshoemtn.com), the #1 ski resort in the mid-Atlantic, today announced the return of its popular “Ridiculous Pass Sale” for a ten-day window, starting immediately. With the price beginning at $209, skiers and snowboarders can lock in the best deal guaranteed for unlimited skiing and riding from March 1st of the 2014/2015 winter season through the entire 2015/2016 ski season.

Skiers and riders must act fast to get the best savings. The sale starts at $209, and will increase to $219 after the first 2500 passes are sold. The Pass will increase to $229 after 7,500 are sold. After midnight February 26th, the price of the Snowshoe unlimited ski pass returns to full price.

With the extension of this year’s ski season the mountain is open through Easter Sunday, April 5th, giving passholders an extra week of spring skiing and riding versus last season.

“At Snowshoe we’re committed to making outdoor winter fun accessible for the whole family,” explains Dave Dekema, marketing director, Snowshoe Mountain. “The Ridiculous Pass Sale backs that up with our best deal of the year. You’ll get five weeks of skiing this season this season, plus all of next winter, with no blackout dates. All for the price of what you might otherwise spend over a long weekend. It’s too good to pass up—the value is ridiculous.”

The pass offer is valid for skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels, affinity and age groups- adults, students, seniors, military, children and teenagers. Children, ages 6 and under, and seniors, ages 75 and over, ski free with a $10 transaction fee. The sale runs just ten days, from Tuesday, February 17 through midnight, Thursday, February 26. In comparison, the full retail price of an unrestricted 2014/2015 adult season pass at Snowshoe is $399.

Snowshoe Mountain is currently enjoying another terrific snow season. Big storms allowed the resort to open early in November, and subsequent January and February snowfall has made for epic ski and snowboarding conditions for families of all levels.
