Sky Valley in Georgia Will Not Open For the 2004-2005 Season

We received information from Sky Valley, after receiving contact from David Harrison, a reporter for WCJB, an ABC TV Affiliate in Gainesville, Florida. David is also one of our On-Snow Reporters and all around and fan. David and Sky Valley officials have informed us that the Georgia resort has new owners and they have decided to forego this season and concentrate on performing some necessary tasks to take the resort up a peg for next year.

We will bring you more on future plans as we get them. You always hate to hear of any resort closing up shop, but in this case it’s good news because Sky Valley will be offering an even better product next season. Good luck to those guys!
