There’s a ten degree difference from South to North in where the high temps will top out. This has been a strange winter indeed! Typically the high elevations of North Carolina are in the same realm of temps as Wisp Resort in Maryland . However over the last month that has not been the case as the cold air has stayed north and that’s what we have again today as highs will reach the mid 40s in Western North Carolina and yet Wisp, and the West Virginia resorts will see highs only in the 32 degree range. The Virginia resorts will see highs in the upper 40s. Here’s the details by region.
