Sapphire Valley primed for 2016

Sapphire Valley Ski Area has been hard at work during the offseason.

Mountain Manager Chris Green has saw the area purchase new snow guns for this upcoming season. The area’s website is currently getting an upgrade.

Sapphire Valley is targeting Thanksgiving as opening day for the 2016-17 season.

Matt is a lifelong resident of the High Country from Roan Mountain, TN. After graduating from East Tennessee State University in 2010 and prior to joining the Appnet family in 2013, he worked for four years as the sports information director at a local Christian college. Matt also has worked for a variety of local newspapers as a sports writer and photographer - something that he still does in the evenings and weekends.
