Brad Panovich and four of our design team have been up at Snowshoe all weekend and Brad emailed me this report an hour ago:

Mike,
Awesome! The only way I can describe the conditions at Snowshoe this weekend. Joe and I got to ski first tracks with the ski patrol before the slopes opened Saturday morning. I skied the best powder I have ever skied on the east coast. I dare say the best ever, but Heavenly about 7 years ago was pretty close. It was knee deep powder that we blew through and I felt like I was 12 years old. Even when I bit it in the deep stuff it was a blast. I mean imagine not seeing your feet and skis and try to turn without biting it a few times! 🙂 The only thing more amazing than the slopes are the drifts and snow which is piled up to the roof of the condo we are staying at. I actually saw a snowboarder jump a Honda accord in the parking lot, it was buried and it looks more like a table top jump.

I’ve got tons of picture but check out the picture of the day on the Snowshoe website. (That is Brad on our Photo of the Day pic above!)
