Ober Gatlinburg Will Open on Thursday…plus!

Ober Gatlinburg has announced that they will be opening for the first time this season on Thursday. That is good news for season pass holders and lovers of the mountain that makes it’s home in the Great Smoky Mountain town of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Ober Gatlinburg features the ONLY aerial tram in the region and some great (and challenging) terrain for skiers and snowboarders.

Is Snowshoe Bragging…again?Well, maybe a little but who could blame them. They’ve had 18" of snow since Saturday and now have 13 trails open with more on the way – look for over 35 trails to be open this weekend, including 8 features in the Park.

With 18" of natural snow since Saturday and tons of snowmaking, the conditions are incredible.
