Nice Today and Milder for the Next Week at the Southeast Ski Resorts

This new feature intergrates www.HighCountryWeather.com into our offerings in a more formidable way. We think that you will find that the forecasts provided here are very accurate for our ski areas and we will be implementing (this week) more live stations into the mix…and we’ll begin providing more content to the website as we grow those features.  Look for bigger and better things from this collaboration.

Look for Cloudy conditions for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday across most of the region.  Expect highs around 42° at Snowshoe in West Virginia, about 47° at Winterplace, about 43° at WISP Resort in Maryland and into the upper 40s and low 50s elsewhere across the Southeast’s HIGHEST elevations and ski resorts. Temps will remain a few degrees milder than normal for the next several days with highs near 40° at Snowshoe, and five degrees or so milder at Winterplace and further south.

Look for some light rain to kick in (about a 40% chance) on Wednesday and maybe some SNOW on Saturday at Snowshoe, Winterplace and WISP…and possibly a little mix elsewhere.
