I've been visiting skisoutheast.com just about every day during the ski season for the past few seasons and I figured I'd finally join the messageboard. I'm pretty bummed about the slow start to the season just like everyone else, but it is what it is... I mostly ski at Wintergreen and Massanutten, but I've also been to Cannan and Snowshoe. Can't wait for some cold weather!!

Good to "meet" you. Have you ever been to one of the demo weekends by Freestyle of Charlottesville at Massanutten? I'll be there per usual in early Jan.ski4me wrote:I've been visiting skisoutheast.com just about every day during the ski season for the past few seasons and I figured I'd finally join the messageboard. I know Freestyle also has demo days at Wintergreen but those are during holiday periods. One advantage of the Mnut demo weekend is that there is never a lift line on Lift 6, the summit lift for two black trails. Last year there were even bumps on MakAttack but that won't be happening this season. Dates are Jan. 9-10, usually 9:30-2:30. The selection is pretty decent, including all-mountain skis that are reasonable to take out west.
