I have started planning for my annual ski trip out west and I came across this article from Powder magazine regarding the rising prices for one day lift tickets and the falling prices for annual passes. Over the past few years, I have bought season passes and saved a pretty good bit of money on my trips out west (a Monarch Pass a few years ago and the Mountain Collective pass last year). I saved a pretty good bit over buying one day or multiple day tickets at the resorts. I think I read where Vail will be over $150 bucks for a one day pass this year.
