been trying to catch some lately. They are harder than you think to catch.
Lightning fascinates me as I have been hit by the charge from it 5 times in my life, 2 left me hurting for days....
Anybody have advise on good manual settings to get the glow of the lightning right?
The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard
The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

Like the hair.
Had Lightning strike the metal Guardrail beside me on a Highway...Car tires stop it.....BS lit me up
Another time I was holding a metal ladder with a workman on it . Lightning popped the field by the House and climbed the ladder into me.
Another time I was in the basement barefoot on wet floor. Lightning hit the house. Knocked me down
one time, on a boat running from a nasty storm back in the inlet at Cape Lookout. Lightning popped about 50 ft away. ears rang for days
and finally walking on Bear Island, I ventured into the nesting area of the sea gulls. they were dive bombing me and lightning hit the sand....scattered birds and stood my hair up
