I will entitle this unconventional and late TR: " A Blue, Blue Christmas"

OK so I did not post at all last year as my only trips involved an ER, a Neurosurgeon and lots PT. I could not even bring myself to visit this, or any other ski related site. I got hurt at work in Dec of 2015 and I was off work for months. I have a couple of bulging discs, but a year later and I think I am finally ready to hit the slopes, even if it is a bit dialed back, this year as I have been working PT hard and learning to do a lot of core exercises. So for all 2 of you that may have noticed my absence, thats what was up. The last time I was on the hill was a CV/Wisp trip the season before which offered blizzard conditions and a meet up with David ski at the CV bar.

This year I figured I needed to reward myself a little so I am headed in Feb to Vail/BC. Hope the SE gets some snow soon. I may have to get a quick trip to break in my legs. So remember kids there are things a lot worse than no snow!

I feel your pain with the bulging discs. I can say they haven't affected my skiing other than the day(s) afterwards.

Here's to a good season for you!

Thanks! And that's good to know about it not really affecting my skiing. It was L5 that was the worst.
