The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

Saturday was superb. Almost everything is open, save the little blues at the top of the beginners area.

Snow was fantastic on Sunday. The best snow quality I have ever skied on outside of a real powder day. Whatever their snowmaking crew is doing they have it dialed in just right!

Cataloochee Thursday Night Race League

Open to everyone 18 and older, Cataloochee will be hosting the Cataloochee Thursday Night Race League beginning January 11, 2018. Races will be held each Thursday evening and all races begin at 7pm.

Race dates are the following:

Thursday, January 11

Thursday, January 18

Thursday, January 25

Thursday, February 1

Thursday, February 8

Thursday, February 15

Thursday, February 22

Individuals will race against the clock on a modified GS or Slalom course for the better of two runs. Top three challengers in both men’s and women’s age divisions will win some great prizes! Age categories are 18-20, 21-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 & up and over for both men and women. Helmets and goggles are required. Helmets are available for rental. Registration is open from 6 until 7:30pm. Racing begins at 7pm and ends when all racers have had two runs or 8:30pm, which ever comes first. Awards immediately following race conclusion.

Rates: $15.00 Race Only / $35.00 Race and Night Lift Ticket (6 -10pm)
