The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

The anticipation has begun! I wonder if the Eclipse will mean a snowy winter? I'm going to tell myself that anyway. Isn't it about time for the annual first snow prediction contest? Who all is out there?

It only the first of September, people still focused on sun/beach, mid-80 temps, and water sports.
Wait till the nights start cooling off, the itch will hit 'em.
(Autumn Equinox is only 19 days away.) 8-)

Another 30 days and 10 fewer degrees and the board will start to come to life again. The high country is pretty looking chilly for the next 5 days with lows right around 40! I too have not done my usual stopping in over the summer... We have trips planned for the last two weekends of October. Always hoping to see some flurries while we're there once fall comes around. I was lucky enough to do some October snowboarding one time, I forget what year but I remember riding at Sugar in October one year. How is the 4 year old doing now? Did you have much luck last year? My daughter will be 2 and 1/2 by the time season starts up and I'm planning to get her something this year and just let her go at her own pace and make it fun. She likes to stand on my long board while I drag her around the driveway, so hopefully we can continue that in the snow. I know burton makes some 80's that I have looked at before, time to start shopping I guess!
