The Duck-Rabbit Craft Brewery adding to MLK Fun!

One thing that we want to make all of you Martin Luther King Weekend visitors aware of if you’re headed to Hawksnest or Ski Beech. Paul Philippon, of The Duck-Rabbit Craft Brewery, Inc., of Farmville, NC will be adding a bit of festive fun to the experience! Paul says, "We’re calling it "Skiing with The Duck-Rabbit." The idea is to invite people to join us on the slopes during the day, and then for a "pint night" promotion after skiing (in the Hawks Nest Bar and Grill Friday then in the Beech Tree Bar and Grill at Ski Beech on Saturday.

Basically just go ski and have fun at Hawksnest and then at 4pm they will host The Nest fun. Be one of the first 100 people to order a Duck-Rabbit Beer at either of the resorts this weekend…and you will be given a FREE Duck-Rabbit Logo Glass. The promotion will be taking place at Hawksnest, within THE NEST at 4pm and then at Ski Beech on Saturday at 3pm.

Paul is an avid skier and a regular visitor to the SkiNC and SkiSoutheast messageboard and he has posted the announcement there as well. He’s invited numerous board members to ski and ride those days and it would be a great time to get out and meet some new friends.

Paul told me, "I recently found out that all of our employees are skiers and snowboarders and we began thinking a means to promote a fun time AND take in some good skiing in Western North Carolina!"

Smart guy Paul! We’re going to see if we can get out to Hawksnest on Friday. See you there!
