It’s a WET Monday 🙂

Only ONE WORD is needed to describe the conditions yesterday and today here in the North Carolina mountains – WET. We haven’t had a downpour of rain, but it was an on and off again light rain to drizzle that fell Sunday and continues today. We should see skies begin to clear a little later today, but suffice to say that surface conditions everywhere will be Wet Granular.

February 25th Weekend Should be Great! – Weather is the number one topic of emails received over the weekend and most have to do with NEXT weekend so lets go ahead and get that out of the way. We’re in for mild weather today and Tuesday, but then more normal temperatures should return Wednesday and we should see the snowguns crank up Wednesday night and resorts will be able to make snow Wednesday Night, Thursday Night and Friday Night and the weekend forecast as we see it right now looks to be nice – with partly cloudy skies and temps in the upper 30s and overnight lows in the 20s. So if you have a trip planned for the coming weekend it looks like you’re in luck! Of course we’ll keep you updated.

Meteorologist Brad Panovich’s forecast for the coming week is below…
