Ski Beech is looking to hire 2 to 3 new race team coaches.

Team Beech Ski and Snowboard Team is looking forward to another great season of racing in the High Country Junior Race Series. The junior race team at Ski Beech won the 2008 Championship and they are gearing up for what should be another good season of skiing and snowboarding.

I was speaking with head coach, Dan Thompson the other day and he told me that they were needing to hire two to three race team coaches and they were having a little trouble getting the word out. So this one’s for you Dan!

If you are interested in working with a great group of 7-12 year old ski and snowboarding enthusiasts AND you want to get paid for your efforts, the SKI BEECH RACE TEAM IS LOOKING FOR YOU!!!!

"We’d love to have someone with some race experience or any kind of PSIA or USSA coaching background, but we’re flexible so if we can find a couple of really good skiers who are good at working with kids, we’d love to talk with them.", says Dan Thompson.

From what Dan was telling me, the position would require that coaches meet up at Ski Beech on Saturdays at 8am and coach until about 4:30pm. Some Sundays might come into play, but again the head coach says that they could be flexible. Pay is dependent on experience – but if any of you guys and gals are interested in doing some coaching, contact Dan Thompson at 919-489-3015 or email him at [email protected]

Dan was telling me that they will be hosting former US Ski Team member, Alex Krebs in February as she will be teaching a USSA coaches clinic at Ski Beech.
