Exciting, Favorable, COLD, Snow…all words to Explain This Week’s Weather Forecast!

Carolina News 14 Meteorologist Matthew East has provided us with his latest Skier’s Forecast for the mountains of the Southeast covering the weather for Western Maryland all the way down to the North Carolina mountains and this is the best forecast that we’ve seen this season.

Matthew’s video includes words like "favorable, exciting, cold, snow and even more snow next weekend".

Matthew says that we should see some light snow Monday into Tuesday across North Carolina into Western Maryland, then cold, snowmaking temps mid week and then more favorable chances of more significant snowfall heading into next weekend.

The way that this season has gone so far, we KNOW better than to start talking about potential snowstorms this far out, but if the pattern holds, then we should see some great MLK weekend conditions and good snow to boot. The guarantee is that resorts will be making snow all week and conditions will be primo for skiing and riding…and while NOT guaranteed, we SHOULD see some snow early in the week, with a better than average shot of more snow next weekend!
