I've got the 80's on my mind!
Come celebrate one of the most righteous decades at Beech Mountain Resort with our Totally 80's Retro Weekend. It all starts Feb. 21 with an official pre-party at Famous Fast Eddies where we'll be cranking out the 80's tunes and offering $2 domestics and 20% off menu items.
Friday, Feb. 22 come back to Eddies from 7-9 to help catch Slimer with the Carolina Ghostbusters and get your photo taken with Ecto-1. After you've caught a few ghosts, head over to Jackelope's View from 9-midnight for a no cover 80's show performed by rockers Buick MacKane
Saturday, Feb 23 is our big day! Come dressed in your raddest 80's ski gear and shred Beech in style. We'll be having the Carolina Ghostbuster searching the resort all afternoon for uneasy spirits. Once again, come get your picture taken with them and the Ecto-1. From 4:30-6 we'll be hosting our Big Hair and Radical Air Competition, a freestyle jump contest to the soundtrack of an 80's DJ.
That Evening 80'z Enuff is playing at the Beech Tree. Come check out this totally tubular band for no cover.
During the band's 8:30 break, SkiNC.com will be presenting an 80's apparel contest. It's free entry, anyone can sign up. Winner will receive a $500 cash prize and a MONSTER Energy Epiphone electric guitar. Sign ups begin at 8 in the Beech Tree. It's gonna be a bodacious time!
This rad weekend will conclude Sunday, Feb 24 by having everyone dressing up again and riding at BMR.
None of this would be happening if it weren't for all our fresh sponsors:
4 Seasons at Beech
The Pinnacle Inn Resort
The Famous Brick Oven
Fred's General Mercantile
Beech Mountain Chalet Rentals
