Come out to Chick-Fil-A of Boone for their Safety Day this Saturday from 12-2pm. Meet the local firefighters and get a picture in front of a real firetruck. Bring your bike helmets and car seats for a safety check. Moo Cow will be there too!

There are plenty of festivities happening in Blowing Rock today for locals and visitors to celebrate Halloween. The Halloween Festival includes a Monster March, scavenger hunt, hay rides, games, prizes, and more. For details, call 828-295-5222.
Tweetsie Railroad's Ghost Train has its final run today. Engineer Casey Bones takes his passengers on a scary fun ride they won't forget! Advance tickets are required; visit www.tweetsie.com for more information.
Last but certainly not least, Ensemble Stage draws back the curtain at 7pm for its re-creation of a classic, Dracula. General seating tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students. Call the box office at 828-414-1844.
