On Snow

We just got back from Snowshoe last night, and MAN WHAT A TRIP! The Shoe is in primo shape right now!

Yesterday, Wednesday was a powder day for sure! With 6 or more inches overnight of dry powder, I felt like I was in Utah. The snow fell till 1 or later. No crowds, all lifts open, and all trails as well. Thanks to the crew a snowshoe for not grooming it all away. I was boot deep to knee deep in places! The western territory was groomed late and had little snow, but the backside had stashes till after noon. We hated to leave! That weightless floating you get in powder had many falling, but my K2 Fugatives floated well over West Virginias finest snow! My family now has a new favorite place to go!

If you can get there this weekend, GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will be glad you did! WV does a great job on the roads.
