You guys should know that Sugar was in super shape on Friday. I was one of only a few that were on the hill most all day Friday! Whoopdedoo was fast as the sun was loosening the snow a bit. All of the slopes looked really nice and I really didn’t see any thin coverage areas except where the trails merge up top. That was minimal and a couple of the patrollers told me that Sugar was planning on making snow tonight.
I was expecting things to look a little ragged after the rain yesterday and that may be what kept some people away on Friday, but if that’s the case, you’re missing out on some of the best skiing of the season right now! No lift lines, and great snow.
