Here’s the breakdown from North to South today –
WISP RESORT IN MARYLAND – Today will be beautiful and sunny with a high near 42°. ONE TO THREE INCHES OF SNOW is possible tonight with a snowmaking low of 25°. Friday should add another inch to the snow totals with a high around 32°. Things clear up some Friday night with a low around 19°. Saturday and Sunday should be beautiful with sunny skies and a cold high of 32-34° both days and lows in the teens both nights. A picture perfect ski weekend!
SNOWSHOE MOUNTAIN WEST VIRGINIA – Look for a nice day early with increasing clouds and SNOW later with highs in the 30s and lows tonight around 23° and the potential for 3-5” of new SNOW! Friday there’s another 100% chance of snow with another 3-5” of snow forecasted and highs around 24°. Friday night things get very cold with lows dipping to around 13°. Saturday with be clear, cold and blustery with highs around 23° and winds at 20mph or so. Sunday should be phenomenal with a high in the upper 20s and little in the way of wind.
WINTERGREEN
NC MOUNTAINS – Expect variably cloudy skies and a high near 53° today and a chance of a light shower after midnight with the lows around 35°. It will be windy tonight. Friday should be mostly cloudy and a high of around 44° with some sprinkles or flurries mixed in late in the day as temps drop to 25° overnight. Saturday will be mostly sunny and 43°. Saturday night 25°. Sunday should be sunny and 44°.
