Cataloochee Ski Area offers (14) slopes and trails that are perfectly divided between all skill levels:

25% beginner
50% intermediate
25% advanced to expert.

Cat's top elevation rivals that of most all of the Eastern United States Ski Areas:

Top Elevation 5,400'
Base Elevation 4,600'
Vertical Drop 740'

They feature (5) lifts total: 1 quad, 1 triple, 1 double chair* and 2 surface lifts.
*Omigosh lift features midway loading and unloading.
