Nestled on 25 acres of skiable terrain just thirty-five miles west of Asheville, Cataloochee Ski Resort has divided its runs and trails for Maggie Valley Skiing and Maggie Valley Snowboarding in a really nice way. Approximately 25% of the trails are Beginner trails and Advanced Trails respectively leaving the other 50% of the terrain available for Intermediate level runs.
