Cataloochee Announces Opening Day Schedule!

Man have YOU people gotten excited!  All it took was a few snow dances, a nice burst of natural snow and the webcameras showing that the snowguns are blasting and our INBOX began filling up!

It is 7:30pm and I was monitoring the cameras and Tammy Brown just popped an email to me saying, "Mike – here you go – more in the morning … we are opening on FRIDAY at 1pm!"

So it is official – Cataloochee WILL BE OPEN for skiing on Friday and for the weekend. We’ll update you guys on the official snowfall totals and opening announcements in the AM.

MAN it’s great to know that we’ll be making some turns real soon.
